It occurred to me today that I’m a Bride! I know, I know, you guys are probably like what the hell, right? Why did it take me this long to figure that out, right? I don’t know why it took me this long. I mean I knew I was planning my wedding but it didn’t occur to me that I’m, technically, a Bride. Actually I hadn’t even thought of myself as a bride until my sister bought me these:
The one on the top is a tank top that it folded and the one below it (the one that I’m wearing) is a zip up hoodie. Obviously, as you can see, they both say “Bride” on them. hat’s when the light bulb went off in my head that I’m not just some girl who is planning her wedding. I am a BRIDE planning her wedding.
I don’t know, the word sounds weird for me to say. I’m excited and scared at the same time, does that make sense? Labeling myself a bride kind of made everything hit home. I’m getting married in 15 months and a few days! Eek!
